Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality, and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimise production activities to improve productivity, efficiency, and resource utilisation.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to address operational issues and improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop the production team to achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor production KPIs and prepare operational reports for management review.
• Support new product introductions, process improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure production equipment is properly maintained to minimise downtime.

Preferred background/industry:

• Experience in cutting tools, machining, or metal processing/manufacturing
• Background in the machining and manufacturing industry
• English/Malay/ Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role and communication requirements.
