Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and continuously improve testing methods for devices containing lithium-ion batteries. Identify and select appropriate test equipment to ensure reliable test data and efficient sample evaluation.
  • Perform equipment qualification to verify that laboratory equipment is fit for its intended use.
  • Manage equipment calibration activities to ensure compliance with applicable standards and internal requirements.
  • Conduct test method validation to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and suitability of testing methods.
  • Create work instructions and provide training to team members.
  • Perform testing in accordance with defined test programs, including monitoring, specification confirmation, product validation, and market batch release activities.
  • Evaluate test results and prepare clear and accurate test reports.
  • Create, maintain, and control quality-related documentation for the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and GMP requirements.
  • Support and actively participate in internal and external audits related to ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and certification, and implement corrective and preventive actions as required with stakeholders.
  • Travel regionally whenever needs arise.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in product‑quality–related engineering, operations, or a similar field is preferred.

Work Experience

  • At least 5 years of professional experience within a global-scale business, with adequate knowledge of product quality management or assurance activities in a multinational electronics company.
  • Has electrical/electronic background.
  • Ideal industries:

    • Electronics Laboratory Experience in electronics (or mechanical) testing laboratory
    • Consumer Electronics and Manufacturing
    • Medical Devices and Manufacturing
    • Testing / Certification Laboratory

Language Skills

  • Fluent English. Multi-language such as Japanese and Chinese is considered as an advantage.

Functional Skills

  • Demonstrates excellent leadership and strategic management capabilities, with essential knowledge of laboratory operations related to electronics.
  • Possesses comprehensive expertise in data analysis, statistics, and multi-project management, complemented by strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and experienced in SAP R/3 and LIMS systems (Laboratory Information Management System).
  • Has hands-on lab experience/activities (testing on device)
  • Understand ISO/IEC 17025 and GMP/GDP.
  • Experienced in external audit.
  • Able to work well with colleagues from other countries.
