A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced System Architect to support its capital markets and securities trading technology environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Define end-to-end architecture for Trading OMS, Pre-Trade Risk/RMS, FIX connectivity, market connectivity and downstream back-office systems.
• Design low-latency, highly available, fault-tolerant and resilient trading solutions.
• Lead architecture modernisation, platform enhancements and technology transformation initiatives.
• Define integration patterns and data flows across front office, middle office, clearing, settlement, reconciliation and reporting platforms.
• Ensure system performance, transaction integrity, recoverability, observability and operational resilience.
• Collaborate with business, technology, infrastructure, operations, risk, audit and vendor stakeholders on architecture decisions and governance.

Key Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Trading Systems / Capital Markets IT.
• Strong exposure to securities brokerage, investment banking or capital markets technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of Trading OMS, Pre-Trade Risk Management/RMS, FIX Protocol and exchange connectivity.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end securities trading lifecycle, including execution, clearing, settlement, reconciliation and reporting.
• Proven experience as a System Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Architect or senior technical lead supporting mission-critical trading platforms.
• Strong expertise in low-latency architecture, high availability, disaster recovery and production resilience.
• Bursa Malaysia and/or global market trading platform exposure is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Malaysian citizens only.
